Gwendoline Christie Looked Like A Literal Goddess At The ‘Game Of Thrones’ World Premiere

She plays an armored warrior in the show, but she was a fiery Queen on the red carpet😍

HBO’s hit fantasy series, Game Of Thrones, held their final World Premiere for Season 8 in New York City, at the iconic Radio City Music Hall. And the red carpet was teeming with the famous faces of both current and former cast members. From Sean Bean to Pedro Pascal, Natalie Dormer to Rose Leslie, we saw our favorites return to greet the likes of Emilia Clarke and Sophie Turner, Kit Harington and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau! And everyone came dressed to impress. But one of the actors definitely stole the show, and it was none other than Brienne herself, Gwendoline Christie!

Christie doesn’t get to dress up on the set of Thrones, as Brienne is always in the same, weathered armor. So, when she hits the red carpet, you better believe she brings her a-game! And the result is truly nothing short of mesmerizing.

Christie wore an Iris van Herpen couture gown that quite literally made her look as if she was floating amidst a daze of purple and white clouds. Just take a look at some of these pictures!

Thrones also posted a video of Christie and Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund Giantsbane, on their Instagram page, taken by the remarkable director/photographer Mark Leibowitz, and you will not be able to look away.

Gwendoline Christie, you are a Queen. And we bow down to you.

The Final Season Of Game Of Thrones Premieres April 14 On HBO.
