Wednesday night marked a truly historic occasion. In New York City, at Radio City Music Hall, no less, the last world premiere for Game Of Thrones was held.
If you’re emotional, I promise you aren’t the only one. Game Of Thrones is not only our favourite fantasy series, but our favourite television series. Period. It’s changed the way fantasy is viewed and the way it’s filmed. Everyone involved, cast, crew, or fans, have been touched by this incredible show. It’s an emotional time, knowing that it’s all coming to an end. But in true Thrones fashion, it went out with a bang. And that’s why nearly every single actor, former and recurring, appeared at the premiere.
Yes, that’s right. From Starks to former Kings, the Mother of Dragons to warriors, everyone was present. Well, nearly everyone. Two notable absences were Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Richard Madden (Robb Stark). The premiere missed them dearly, but welcomed all our returning actors with open arms. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen all these faces in one place, and it’s more than we ever dreamed it would be. And we, of course, can’t forget about the outfits! Every single member of the cast looks like a King/Queen in their own right. From Sean Bean to Natalie Dormer, Rose Leslie to Charles Dance, this red carpet is teeming with familiar, talented faces, and fierce looks. Take a look through our gallery to see all of the stunning looks.
The Final Season Of Game Of Thrones Premieres April 14 On HBO.
